KPDCL Announces Power Shutdown Schedule Across Multiple Areas | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns across several areas due to maintenance of multiple 33 kV transmission lines.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, supply to Akura, Nanil, Aung, Adlash, Nambal, Chee, Prakashpora and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm on February 17, 2026 owing to shutdown of the 33 kV Sarnal–Akura line.

Power supply to Nishat, Papchan, Ajas, SK Bala, Sadunara, Bazipora, Nadihal, Guroora, Argam and nearby localities will be affected from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm on February 17, 2026 due to shutdown of the 33 kV Potushai–Nadihal line.

Similarly, electricity to Kanzalwan, Baktoor, Kuragbal, Dawar, Wampora, Achoora, Markoot, Churwan, Razdan, NHPC Colony, Tragbal and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm on February 21, 2026 due to shutdown of the 33 kV Bandipora–Gurez line.

Supply to Shar A, Shar B, Wahab Sahab, Bathan, Nagandar and surrounding areas will be affected from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm on February 21 and 24, 2026 owing to shutdown of the 33 kV Pampore–Khrew line.

Power supply to Samboora, Lethpora, CRPF Lethpora, Ladhoo, Konibal, Chandhara, LIS and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm on February 22 and 26, 2026 due to shutdown of the 33 kV Pampore–Lethpora line.

Officials said the shutdowns are necessary to carry out essential maintenance works on the transmission network.
