NIT Srinagar Walk-in-Interview 2026 For Teaching Staff Posts

National Institute of Technology Srinagar has released an official notice inviting eligible Indian nationals for a walk-in-interview for engagement of temporary teaching staff.

The walk-in-interview will be held on 24 February 2026 for vacancies in Chemical Engineering and Humanities, Social Sciences and Management departments. The engagement is purely temporary, and selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly remuneration.

Eligibility Criteria of NIT Srinagar Vacancies

Candidates with a Direct Ph.D after B.Tech are eligible for the Chemical Engineering post.
Candidates must have first class at both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree levels.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will be paid a fixed remuneration of Rs. 65,000 per month for active duty.

Terms and Conditions

The engagement is purely temporary for 11 months or until regular faculty joins, whichever is earlier.
Selected candidates must join immediately and be physically present at the posting station.
No accommodation will be provided by the Institute.
Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
The Institute reserves the right to cancel or modify the notice without assigning any reason.
