Ghulam Ahmad Mir, father-in-law of Greater Kashmir Editor-in-Chief Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo, passes away
Srinagar, Feb 12: Ghulam Ahmad Mir, father-in-law of Greater Kashmir Editor-in-Chief Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo, passed away on Thursday evening after a prolonged illness.
Originally a resident of Sopore, Ghulam Ahmad Mir breathed his last at his residence at Haripora Kangan, where he had been unwell for a long time. His Nimaz-i-Janazah was offered at Haripora Kangan, after which he was laid to rest at the Haripora Kangan graveyard amid the presence of relatives, friends and residents.
He is survived by his two sons, Mir Afaq and Mir Suhail, and a daughter. Condoling his demise, mourners described the deceased as a noble soul and prayed for eternal peace to the departed and strength for the bereaved family to bear the loss.
Meanwhile, staffers of Greater Kashmir and its sister concern Kashmir Uzma have condoled the demise and prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
