JKBOSE to declare class 11th results today

Srinagar, Feb 1: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) will declare Class 11th examination results on Monday, February 2.

JKBOSE Chairman Ghulam Hassan Sheikh told Greater Kashmir that the results will be announced after 11:30 AM. “The results are complete. We are hopeful to declare them tomorrow after 11:30 AM officially,” he said.

He added that the exact timing may change as the Board depends on the National Informatics Centre (NIC) for technical support.

Approximately 81,469 students—64,007 from Kashmir and 17,462 from winter zone areas of Jammu—had registered for the Class 11th examination.

The announcement comes days after JKBOSE’s official website became operational following a week-long maintenance shutdown that began on January 16.

Over the past year, JKBOSE has reformed its evaluation system to ensure the timely declaration of results. In April 2025, the Board declared Class 10th and 12th results on the same day—a first in its history.

“We are trying our best to improve work culture and provide all assistance to students without any hurdles,” Sheikh said, adding that reformed evaluation processes have enabled the Board to complete results in a time-bound manner.

As reported by this newspaper in late January, Class 11th results were expected in the first week of February.
