Martyrs’ Sacrifices Inspire the Nation: CM Omar | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday paid tribute to the martyrs on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, saying their supreme sacrifices would continue to inspire future generations.

The Chief Minister honoured those who laid down their lives for the nation and for the ideals of freedom, justice and democracy, noting that their legacy would remain a guiding force for generations to come.

Meanwhile, the Office of the Chief Minister, Jammu and Kashmir, said a two-minute silence was observed at the Civil Secretariat to commemorate the martyrs.

The observance, the CM’s office added, reflected enduring respect for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation.
