SRINAGAR: Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport resumed on Wednesday, a day after all services were cancelled due to heavy snowfall in Kashmir, officials said.

The first flight landed at 9:25 am, and authorities expect normal operations to continue throughout the day if weather conditions remain stable, an Airport Authority of India (AAI) official said.

The airport had earlier announced on its official X handle that the runway, taxiway and apron have been cleared of snow and are ready for use. Visibility, however, remains low due to haze.

Airline and airport authorities are closely monitoring the situation. Passengers have been advised to expect possible delays during the initial phase of operations and to follow official airline communications for updates.
