SRINAGAR: Eight flights were cancelled at Srinagar International Airport on Tuesday due to snowfall and poor visibility.

The development was confirmed by Srinagar airport authorities in a post on X. Officials said flight operations were affected since morning and cautioned that further disruptions are possible if weather conditions worsen.

Snowfall was reported across the Kashmir Valley, including Srinagar and Ganderbal, as well as in parts of the Jammu region, particularly the Pir Panjal range and the Chenab Valley.

Passengers have been advised to check the latest flight status with their respective airlines before travelling to the airport.
