Gusty Winds Collapse House Roof in Srinagar, Block Road | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Strong gusty winds led to the collapse of the roof of a residential house at Karan Nagar Srinagar on Thursday late evening, with debris falling onto the main road and causing traffic disruption, officials said.

Reports said that An SDRF Quick Response Team from the battalion headquarters in Srinagar was immediately deployed to the spot and carried out a clearance operation, they said.

The debris was removed and the road was restored for the safe movement of traffic, they added. (KNC)
