
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission on Wednesday declared the result of the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Mains Examination 2024, shortlisting candidates for the Personality Test (Viva Voce).
According to an official notification issued by the Commission, a copy of which lies with Alfaaz – The Words, candidates who appeared in the Mains examination held from July 23 to August 1, 2025, (and whose roll numbers are listed in Annexure A of the notification), have qualified for the next stage of selection.
The shortlisted candidates will appear for the Personality Test for selection to the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Services, which include the Junior Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, Jammu and Kashmir Police Gazetted Service, and Jammu and Kashmir Accounts Gazetted Service.
The Commission clarified that the candidature of all shortlisted candidates remains provisional and subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions in all respects. Candidates will be required to produce original certificates related to age, educational qualification, domicile, category, and disability, if applicable, at the time of the Personality Test.
The schedule for the Personality Test or Viva Voce will be notified separately by the Commission.
JKPSC further stated that mark sheets of all candidates who appeared in the Combined Competitive Mains Examination 2024 will be uploaded on the Commission’s official website within one month from the date of publication of the final result. The mark sheets will remain available online for a period of 30 days.
The result and subsequent selection process will remain subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending before courts of law.
