Government Orders Transfer and Posting in School Education Department | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has issued orders assigning temporary look-after charge of Principals and equivalent posts to 56 Senior Lecturers across the Union Territory, pending clearance by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) or the Public Service Commission (PSC). The orders also include transfers and postings with immediate effect.

The School Education Department clarified that the assignments are purely temporary, made in the interest of administration, and do not confer any preferential claim for regularisation or confirmation. Officers are required to report to their respective Chief Education Officers within 10 days, failing which the assignments will be deemed cancelled ab-initio. The officers will exercise both Drawing and Disbursing Powers along with administrative responsibilities.

Senior Lecturers Roheena Wazir (RBA), Pawan Kumar (SC), and Bishan Sharma have been assigned the look-after charge of Principals of HSS Haigam in Baramulla, HSS Sanasar in Ramban, and DIET Kud in Udhampur respectively.

The government has also ordered the transfer and posting of 56 other lecturers in partial modification of Government Order No. 692-JK(Edu) of 2025. The postings are as follows: Chaman Lal from HSS Budhi, Kathua to HSS Baggan; Abdul Rashid Giri from HSS Trown, Doda to HSS (Boys) Banihal; Shiv Lal from HSS (B) Banihal to DIET Banihal; Gulshan Afroza from GHSS Budgam to DIET Srinagar; Pritam Singh from HSS Balmatkote, Reasi to HSS Mahore; Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat from HSS Munadguffan, Kulgam to HSS Parnalla; and Satinder Kaur from HSS Arnia, Jammu will continue at HSS Vijaypur, Samba.

Other transfers include Rachna Tomar to Boys Model HSS R.S. Pura, Rita Sharma to HSS Chan Arorian, Kathua, Reena Jandial to HSS Channunta, Udhampur, Anuradha Kumari to SCERT Jammu, Amita Gupta to HSS Pakhlai, Udhampur, Anita Kumari to DIET Samba, and Sambi Kumari (HC) to DIET Samba. Raj Kumar moves to HSS Balmatkote, Reasi, while Mushtaq Hussain continues in-situ.

Neelam Kumari has been posted to Samagra Shiksha, Jammu; Manmeet Bali to HSS (B) Akhnoor; Nazir Ahmad Najar to GHSS Trehgam, Kupwara; Mohd Yaseen Magray to GHSS Kupwara; and Nisar Ahmad Baba to BHSS Yaripora, Kulgam, effective from 1 February 2026. Gulzar Ahmad Khan moves to HSS(B) Ganderbal; Keshav Sharma to HSS Budhi, Kathua; and Surjeet Singh to HSS Khoon.

Further postings include Mohd Sharif Khan to HSS GG Mohalla, Srinagar; Susheela Kumari to HSS Taloor, Samba; Pritam Singh to HSS Hari, Poonch; Reyaz Ahmad Kirmani to BHSS Kupwara; Zubair Ahmad Bijran to GHSS Ganderbal; Ishan-ul-Haq to GHSS Budgam; Qamar-ul-Nissa to HOD DIET Pampore, Pulwama; and Asifa Jan Nisar to Divisional Office, SCERT Kashmir.

Shamsher Singh has been posted to HSS Damnote, Udhampur; Kali Dass to DIET Kud, Udhampur; Rakesh Kumar to HSS Bajabain, Rajouri; Rekha Rani to HSS Kandoli, Nagrota; Musarat Jabeen to HSS Shastri Nagar, Jammu; Mohammad Syed Mir to HSS Aragam; Kanta Sharma to HSS Arnia, Jammu; and Sujata Roy to HSS (Migrant) Shastri Nagar.

Riaz Hussain moves to DIET Reasi; Mohd Farooq to GHSS Bhaderwah; Gh. Mohd Thokar to GHSS Tarahama; Amar Jyoti Kour to HSS Muthi from 1 February 2026; Anita to Samagra Shiksha; Syed Gowher Hussain to HSS Managam, Baramulla; Abdul Hamid Ganaie to HSS Boniyar, Baramulla; Shafayat Ali to HSS Ghat, Doda; Sarjeel Abas Khan to GHSS Baramulla; Manzoor Ahmad Khanday to HSS Srigufwara, Anantnag; Satish Kumar to HSS Purkhoo (Migrant); Raj Kumar Chadha to HSS Sunderbani; Mohinder Singh to GHSS Kore Punnu, Kathua; Sanjeev Sharma to Samagra Shiksha; Naseema Akther to report to DSEJ; and Varinder Nath Sharma to HSS Gurah Slathia, Samba.

All aforementioned teacher’s are deemed to have been relieved with immediate effect and are instructed to adhere to the timelines outlined in the government order issued by Ram Niwas Sharma, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, School Education Department.
