
Srinagar, Jan 14: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday paid tributes to the ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and their family members on 10th Armed Forces Veterans Day.
“Our veterans are embodiment of living history and their sacrifices have not only safeguarded our freedom but also shaped the destiny of our great nation”. Sinha stated.
He said that the “selfless service” of armed forces is not just a job but a lifelong commitment which continues even after their uniforms are folded away.
He said that the valour of veterans does not remain limited to battlefields but transcends them, contributing to the establishment of peace and ensuring the nation’s progress
In a post on X, Office of LG J&K wrote, “On 10th Armed Forces Veterans Day, paid tributes to the ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and their family members. Our veterans are embodiment of living history and their sacrifices have not only safeguarded our freedom but also shaped the destiny of our great nation.”
