Power Outages Scheduled in Multiple Parts of Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer (Distribution) of KPDCL has announced scheduled shutdowns of multiple 33 kV power lines, which will affect electricity supply in several areas of Jammu and Kashmir next week.

A shutdown of the 33 kV Wanpoh SICOP line will affect power supply to Veer, Srigufwara, Zirpara, Shamsipora, Bijbehara SICOP areas and adjoining localities from 10 AM to 3 PM on January 15, 19 and 21, 2026.

Similarly, the 33 kV Lar Tap line will undergo a shutdown, disrupting electricity to Lar, Waliwar, Watlar, Repore and surrounding areas from 10 AM to 3 PM on January 15 and 19, 2026.

Additionally, the 33 kV Preng Madwan Tap line will be shut down on January 19, 2026, affecting power supply to Preng, Madwan, Banyari and nearby areas between 10 AM and 3 PM.

Authorities have advised residents and businesses in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements during the scheduled outages.
