Jammu Kashmir: PSC Extends Application Deadline for SKIMS Gazetted Posts | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has extended the deadline for submission of online applications for gazetted posts at the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, under the Health and Medical Education Department.

An official notification issued on Thursday stated that the last date, originally set under Notification No. 14-PSC (DR-P) of 2025 dated December 26,  2025 is now extended to January 15, 2026.

The Commission, however, clarified that the cut-off date for determining eligibility will remain December 28, 2025 as previously announced.

The notice has been issued to inform candidates, providing those who have not yet applied an opportunity to submit their applications within the extended period.

The recruitment exercise covers various gazetted positions at SKIMS, a premier healthcare and medical education institution in Jammu and Kashmir. The extension has been authorised under the signature of the Additional Secretary of the JKPSC.
