SRINAGAR: Police in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district have seized 16 vehicles, including 12 tippers and four tractors, involved in the illegal extraction and transportation of minor minerals.
The operation covered the jurisdictions of PS Ganderbal, PS Kheerbawani, PS Lar, and PP Nagbal, targeting vehicles transporting materials from Nallah Sindh without mandatory permissions. The seizures were carried out in close coordination with the Geology and Mining Department.

Ganderbal Police warned offenders against continuing illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, reiterating that strict legal action will be taken against all violators.
