Carpenter Succumbs to Injuries After Fall in South Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A carpenter lost his life after falling from a rooftop at Sherpora in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Fazil Altaf Mir, son of Muhammad Altaf Mir, an inhabitant of Mir Mohalla Uttersoo, Naji Gund area of Anantnag. He reportedly fell from the rooftop while at work, sustaining critical injuries.

Locals rushed to his aid and shifted him to a nearby medical facility, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police have taken note of the incident and initiated further proceedings as per law. [KNT]
