Chinese Made Rifle Telescope Recovered, Probe Underway | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Amid a heightened security alert, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday recovered a Chinese-made telescope of assault rifle from the Sidra area of Jammu district.

Official sources said that the suspicious equipment was detected during routine surveillance and checking near the high security zone.

Following the recovery, senior police officials rushed to the spot and the entire area was immediately cordoned off as a precautionary measure.

Sources said the recovery has prompted intensified security checks in and around the area, while a thorough investigation has been launched.
