Jammu Kashmir: Old Mortar Shell Found Near Hanuman Mandir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: An old rusted mortar shell was found along the roadside at village Dhanwa Jardi near Hanuman Mandir in Reasi district of Jammu Kashmir on Friday, sources said.

Official sources said that the shell was spotted by a local resident village in Pouni tehsil, who immediately informed the police. Acting on the information, a Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) from Reasi rushed to the spot.

The mortar shell was safely destroyed by the BDS team without any loss of life or property, they added. (KNC)
