Teenage Girl Dies After Falling From Vehicle

SRINAGAR: A girl died after she allegedly fell from a load carrier in the Vishroo Payeen area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district late Saturday night.

Officials said that she was identified as Aizah Umar, daughter of Mohd Umar Dar, a resident of Vishroo Payeen.

According to initial reports, the girl fell from the moving vehicle and sustained critical injuries, resulting in her death on the spot.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigations are underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to the accident, the officials added. (KNC)
