KPDCL Announces Scheduled Power Shutdowns Across Multiple Areas

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns affecting several parts of Srinagar and Anantnag districts later this month, the Chief Engineer, Distribution, said on Saturday.

KPDCL stated that shutdowns of the 33 KV SH Pora line and the 33 KV Kawadara–Mughal Masjid line will be carried out, resulting in the SH Pora, Shreen Bagh, MR Gunj, Kawadara and Mughal Masjid receiving stations remaining off. Power supply to areas including Jamalatta, Nawabazar, Zaina Kadal, Firdous Colony, Zaldagar, Nowhatta, Nawa Kadal, MR Gunj, Zadibal, Kaksarai and adjoining locations will remain affected from November 17 to November 20, between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Similarly, shutdown of the 33 KV Khiram Tap line will impact Sirhama, Khiram, Mahind and nearby areas on November 18, November 20 and November 22, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

In addition, the 33 KV Saller Tap line will undergo shutdown, disrupting supply to Sallar, Kullar, Kathsoo and adjoining regions on November 16, between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm.

KPDCL advised consumers in all affected areas to make necessary arrangements during the scheduled outages.
