
SRINAGAR: Minimum temperatures continued to fall across the Kashmir Valley, with Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu Kashmir, registering the coldest night of the season at minus 2.4°C.
The popular tourist spot of Pahalgam recorded a low of minus 3.8°C, while Qazigund, the gateway to the Valley, saw temperatures drop to minus 2.3°C. Kupwara also experienced a chilly night, with the mercury settling at minus 2.4°C.
The renowned ski-resort of Gulmarg recorded a minimum of 0.5°C, whereas Kokernag registered a night low of 1.2°C.
