Govt Orders Reshuffle in Transport Department

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Transport Department on Friday ordered a significant reshuffle, transferring and posting several ARTOs and in-charge ARTOs across various districts. All officers have been deemed relieved from their existing positions with immediate effect.

According to the order issued by the Secretary to the Government, Transport Department, Muddasir Ahmed (Jr KAS) has been shifted from Bandipora to Baramulla, while Mukhtiar Ahmed Sofi, currently in Baramulla, has been posted in Bandipora.

Wajahat Qayoom has been transferred from Ganderbal and appointed as I/C ARTO BOI Srinagar. Sheikh Manzoor Ahmed, who previously held that charge, has been moved to Ganderbal.

In Jammu division, Neeraj Sharma has been transferred from Reasi to Samba, while Nasir Ahmed (Jr KAS), who was awaiting posting, has been assigned Reasi.

Mudassir Iqbal (Jr KAS) has been shifted from ARTO BOI Jammu to Udhampur, and Jugal Kishore Sharma has been moved from Udhampur to take over as ARTO BOI Jammu.

The department has instructed all transferred officers to join their new postings immediately.
