Residential House of JKSA Convenor Nasir Khuehami Gutted in Fire in Bandipora – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: A massive fire broke out at the residence of Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) National Convenor Nasir Khuehami in Bandipora on Thursday, completely destroying the house and causing extensive property damage.

According to Khuehami, the blaze reduced his family home to ashes, resulting in the loss of household items and personal belongings accumulated over the years. Several members of his family, including his father, mother, elder sister, who had undergone major surgery just two days earlier, and two cousins, sustained injuries in the incident and are currently undergoing medical treatment.

While the cause of the fire is yet to be officially confirmed, local residents and emergency teams rushed to the spot to help contain the flames and rescue those trapped inside.

Khuehami has in the meantime expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing the incident as “an incredibly distressing and emotional experience” for his family.
