Jammu, Nov. 04: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested a Patwari in Samba district while accepting a bribe at his private office. The accused, Sunil Verma of the Badheri Patwar area, was caught red-handed in a trap laid by a team led by DSP Suranjit Singh. Officials later searched his office and seized several documents. Interestingly, Verma had recently been transferred to the Katli Patwar area but had not yet joined his new posting. The exact bribe amount is being verified, though sources suggest it could be significant. Further investigation by the ACB is underway.
