
SRINAGAR: The Jammu Kashmir Mechanical Engineering Graduates Association (JKMEGA) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Er Nazir Ahamed Qureshi, Retired Chief Engineer (Mechanical) and Former Chairman of The Institution of Engineers (India), JK State Centre.
Er Qureshi, who was also associated with several charitable organisations including Chinar Kashmir, was remembered as an accomplished engineer and a man of integrity, wisdom, and humility. Known for his devotion to public service and his role in advancing the engineering profession, he was regarded as a mentor and a guiding figure within the fraternity.
In a condolence message, JKMEGA President Er Firdous Ahad Bhat described him as “a great human being, an inspiring professional, and a true gentleman who will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.”
The association extended its heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, praying for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to his loved ones. JKMEGA said it stands united in mourning the loss of a visionary engineer and noble soul whose contributions will continue to inspire generations to come.
