Police seize 2 vehicles involved in illegal mining in Pulwama

Srinagar, Nov 01: In a continued drive to curb illegal mining activities, Jammu and Kashmir Police have seized two vehicles involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals in Pulwama.

Police seized a dumper and a JCB machine found extracting and transporting minerals unlawfully at Newa area of the Pulwama district.

Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Pulwama, and investigation has been initiated.

Police urged the general public to cooperate with police by reporting any incidents of illegal mining.
