Kupwara Police Pay Tributes to Fallen Heroes on Police Commemoration Day – Alfaaz – The Words

Kupwara: Police Commemoration Day was observed with reverence and solemnity at District Police Lines (DPL) Kupwara to pay homage to the valiant martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty while safeguarding the nation.

The ceremony commenced with the Shaheedi Divas Parade, which was inspected by SSP Kupwara, Al Tahir Gilani. He took the salute and read out the Roll of Honour, commemorating the supreme sacrifices of the brave hearts. Contingents from District Police Kupwara, CRPF, Armed Police, and Border Battalion participated in the parade, with Raghav Choudhary serving as Parade Commander.

A wreath-laying ceremony was later held at the Martyrs’ Memorial, where floral tributes were offered in remembrance of the fallen heroes. On the occasion, gifts were also distributed among the families of martyrs as a mark of respect and gratitude for their sacrifice.

Addressing the gathering, SSP Kupwara reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of Jammu and Kashmir Police to uphold peace, security, and public service, while continuing to draw inspiration from the courage and dedication of the martyrs.
