Youth Killed, 2 Injured in Bike–SUV Collision in North Kashmir – Alfaaz – The Words

Kupwara: A 25-year-old youth lost his life while two others were injured after a motorcycle collided with an SUV in Bumhama area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday evening.

News agency GNS cited officials as saying that the accident involved a bike and a Mahindra XUV700, leading to the on-spot death of Faizan Ahmad Peer, son of Mohammed Ashraf Peer, a resident of Chek Drugmulla.

The injured have been identified as Asrar Ahmad Shah, son of Mohammed Shafi Shah, and Manzoor Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar, both hailing from Chek Drugmulla. They were shifted to Sub-District Hospital Kupwara, where from Asrar Ahmad Shah with critical injuries was referred to a Srinagar hospital for specialised treatment.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further investigation.
