
Srinagar, Sep 17: The 4th C.E. Canon Tyndale-Biscoe Football Tournament entered its third day on Wednesday with a mix of walkovers and dominant victories, as J&K Sainik School advanced without contest while SRM Welkins, Foundation World School, and JK Public School posted convincing wins.
As per a statement, the first match was scheduled for IMI School and J&K Sainik School, but IMI did not turn up for the match, and Sainik School was declared the winner on the basis of a walkover.
The second match of the day was played between SRM Welkins and The Kashmir Valley School. SRM Welkins won the match by 3-1. Hanaan Ibrahim of SRM Welkins was declared Man of the Match.
The third match was played between Foundation World School and Doon School. Foundation World School won the match by a margin of 4-0. Ahmad Guru of Foundational World School was declared as Man of the Match.
The concluding match of Day 3 was played between JK Public and Life School, in which JK Public School won by 5-0. Iyad Farooq of JK Public was declared Man of the Match.
