Walk-in Interviews For Guest Faculty Vacancies In Various Departments At Central University Of Jammu

Central University of Jammu has invited eligible candidates for empanelment as Guest Faculty for the academic session 2025-26 (Odd Semester). The appointment will be on a purely per lecture basis and subject to departmental requirements.

According to the official notification No.: CUJ/Estab.T/11/G.F/2025/851, the walk-in interviews for these positions will be held on 06 August 2025. The honorarium for Guest Faculty will be Rs. 1500 per lecture, subject to a ceiling of Rs. 50,000 per calendar month. The engagement will be temporary and will not lead to any claim for permanent appointment.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must fulfill the qualifications and eligibility conditions as prescribed by the UGC guidelines and the Central University Act, 2009, with amendments from time to time. Retired faculty members are also eligible to be considered for empanelment.

How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria must appear for the walk-in interview on 06 August 2025 at the Central University of Jammu. They should carry the filled application form, original and one set of self-attested copies of all relevant documents, CV/Bio-data, and two self-attested photographs.

Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs. 500, to be paid in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Central University of Jammu. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted from the application fee.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on walk-in interviews conducted on 06 August 2025. The engagement will be on a per lecture and requirement basis. Final selection will depend on academic credentials, experience, and interaction during the interview.
