Vice President Arrives in Srinagar for Two-Day Visit | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday received Vice President CP Radhakrishnan on his arrival at Srinagar Airport for a two-day visit to Kashmir.

In a message shared on X, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor expressed its welcome for the Vice President upon his arrival.

Heightened security arrangements were implemented across Srinagar, particularly along Airport Road and at key installations, to ensure smooth movement during the visit. Senior civil and police officials were present at the airport to receive the Vice President.

Traffic police also issued an advisory for February 26 to regulate vehicular movement in view of official engagements.

Following his arrival, the Vice President proceeded to Lok Bhawan in Srinagar and is scheduled to attend the 21st convocation of the University of Kashmir on February 26, 2026.
