Valley Warriors to face Dar Bike Shop Maloora in finals today

Srinagar, Jun 27: All eyes will be on the Zainakote Sports Ground today as Valley Warriors Srinagar take on Dar Bike Shop Maloora in the much-anticipated final of the Zainakot Champions Cup 2025.

As per a statement issued, Valley Warriors stormed into the final with a resounding 116-run victory over Doctors XI Budgam in the semifinals. Their dominant performance has set the stage for what promises to be a thrilling title clash this Saturday.

Batting first in the semifinal, the Warriors piled up a formidable 228/8 in 20 overs. Asim Bashir led the charge with a stunning 67, backed by fluent knocks from Jameel Nazir (59) and Waseem Kachur (42). Despite a strong spell from Nisar Malik, who claimed four wickets for Doctors XI, the Warriors maintained an attacking momentum throughout their innings.

In response, Doctors XI Budgam folded for just 112 in 15.4 overs. Mohsin Manzoor (38) and Adnan Malik (29) offered brief resistance, but the Valley Warriors’ bowling attack, spearheaded by Abid Lefty (3 wickets) and Asim Bashir (1 wicket), proved too strong. Asim Bashir was adjudged Player of the Match for his brilliant all-round display.

Now, the stage is set for the final showdown today. Valley Warriors Srinagar will be eyeing the title, but Dar Bike Shop Maloora—known for their consistency this season—will be no easy opponents.
