UPSC Assistant Director Systems Notification 2025 Out For 45 Posts In Income Tax Department

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification inviting online applications for the post of Assistant Director (Systems) in the Directorate of Income Tax (Systems), Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance. A total of 45 vacancies are available under Advertisement No. 10/2025.

Eligible candidates with qualifications in Computer Science, IT, or relevant disciplines can apply online through the UPSC portal between 26 July and 14 August 2025. The selection will be made through shortlisting, followed by an interview and, if required, a recruitment test.

As per the notification, the post carries a pay scale of Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500 under Level-10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The recruitment is for Group-A Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts with applicable government allowances. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized institution:
Master’s in Computer Applications or Computer Science; M.Tech. in Computer Applications; B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Technology; Degree in Electronics, ECE, or Computer Applications; or a Master’s Degree in any discipline with DOEACC ‘A’ Level Diploma or its equivalent.

Up to 38 years for OBC
Up to 40 years for SC/ST
