University Of Kashmir Technical Assistant Recruitment 2026, Detailed Notification Out

University of Kashmir, Srinagar has issued Advertisement Notice No. 04 of 2026 inviting online applications from eligible domiciles of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for the post of Technical Assistants.

The recruitment is for various departments and campuses of the University of Kashmir. The posts are non-teaching in nature and are offered in Pay Level 05 under the pay range of Rs 29200–92300. Interested and eligible candidates must apply online within the prescribed dates.

Biochemistry

M.Sc Biochemistry with 50% marks from a recognized institute
OR
B.Sc with at least 55% marks with Biochemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized institute
Desirable: Three years of experience in laboratory operations from a recognized institute

Botany

M.Sc Botany with 50% marks from a recognized institute
OR
B.Sc with at least 55% marks with Botany as one of the subjects from a recognized institute
Desirable: Three years of experience in laboratory operations from a recognized institute

Computer Science

B.E/B.Tech in Computers or IT with at least 50% marks from a recognized institute
OR
BCA/B.Sc-IT with at least 55% marks from a recognized institute
OR
Graduation with three years Diploma in Computer Science Engineering with at least 55% marks in Diploma from a recognized institute
Desirable: Experience in Networking and Server Management from a recognized institute

Home Science

Physics

Age Limit

The age of candidates as on 01 January 2026 should be:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age:
• 40 years for Open Merit
• 42 years for Physically Challenged candidates
• 43 years for SC/ST-1/ST-2/BA/OBC/EWS/LAC/IB
• 50 years for in-service University employees
