University Of Kashmir Research Associate Post 2025 – Apply For Food Science Indo-ASEAN Project

The University of Kashmir has invited applications for the Research Associate post under an Indo-ASEAN collaborative project in the Department of Food Science & Technology. The project is being executed in partnership with Universiti Malaysia Terengganu and Mahidol University, Thailand.

The selected candidate will work on the innovative research project titled “Redesigning of Fish from Fish Protein Using Innovative 3D Printing,” which focuses on sustainable utilization of fish waste and developing 3D-printed dietary food products.

As per the notification, the position is temporary for a period of two years and co-terminus with the project. The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience and at least one publication in a Science Citation Indexed journal. The fellowship will be provided as per Indo-ASEAN project norms.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have either a Ph.D. in Food Science & Technology, Food Engineering, or a relevant field. Alternatively, a Master’s degree with three years of research/teaching/design and development experience and at least one SCI journal publication is also acceptable. Experience in protein extraction, food formulation, or 3D food printing will be preferred.
