University Of Kashmir Officer Posts, Check Vacancies, Eligibility And More

University of Kashmir has published Advertisement Notice No. 05 of 2025 inviting online applications for Deputy Director and Deputy Librarian posts. A total of 7 vacancies are available under this notification.

As per the official advertisement, the posts fall under Level 12 of the pay matrix with a salary range of Rs. 79800–211500. The maximum age and reservation policy are governed by SO 176 and SO 305 of 2024. Interested candidates must meet the required qualifications and experience.

Online applications will be accepted from 08 July 2025 to 07 August 2025. The hard copy of the application must be submitted by 12 August 2025. Application fee is Rs. 1200, while candidates with benchmark disabilities are exempted.

Eligibility Criteria:
Below, we have summarized the required eligibility criteria, such as qualification, age limit, experience, etc. Candidates are advised to review the eligibility criteria before applying for any post mentioned in the notification.

Educational Qualifications:
i) Deputy Librarian:
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks. A Ph.D. degree in the related field is also required. Additionally, eight years of experience as Assistant University Librarian or College Librarian, along with evidence of ICT integration and innovative library services, is necessary.
ii) Deputy Director:
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field, along with at least 55% marks at the Master’s level. They should also have eight years of experience as Assistant DPES and evidence of coaching, competitions, and athlete development. Alternatively, an Olympic/World Cup/Championship medal winner with a post-graduation degree is also eligible.

Other Requirements:
Candidates must meet physical fitness norms for Deputy Director post. Experience in organizing coaching camps and producing high-level athlete performance is necessary.

Application Fee: The application fee is Rs. 1200, payable through online mode. However, PwD candidates are exempted from the fee.

Selection Process:
The selection process for University of Kashmir Recruitment 2025 will consist of screening of applications based on qualifications and experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for further process as per University norms.
