University Of Kashmir Department Of Geoinformatics Invites Applications For Senior Project Associate

The Department of Geoinformatics, University of Kashmir, has re-advertised the position of Senior Project Associate for the project “Cryosphere Science Conclaving in New Observations and Productive Exploration (CRYOSCOPE)” sponsored by the Ministry of Earth Sciences. The role is purely temporary and will end with the project.

According to the notification, there is one vacancy for Senior Project Associate with a monthly emolument of ₹42,000 plus HRA at 18% as applicable. The appointment is co-terminus with the project and the selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.

Applicants must have an M.Sc. in Geoinformatics with four years of research experience in the relevant field or a doctoral degree in Geoinformatics. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in cryosphere remote sensing with publications, good communication skills, and a record of leading or being part of research teams.
