The Centre for Career Planning and Counselling (CCPC), University of Kashmir, has released a notification for the engagement of Academic Mentors on a contractual basis for the Civil Services Residential Integrated Support Program (CRISP-25) for the year 2025. The mentors will support aspirants enrolled in the university’s full-time residential UPSC coaching initiative.

As per the official notice, a total of three positions are available under this engagement. Selected candidates will be offered a fixed monthly honorarium of ₹50,000. The tenure of engagement will be one year and may be extended depending on performance and institutional requirements.

Eligible candidates must have appeared in the UPSC Civil Services Mains Examination at least once, with preference to those who have appeared multiple times and possess relevant mentoring or administrative experience. Applications can be submitted online via the CCPC website until 21 July 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have appeared in the UPSC Civil Services Mains Examination more than once or at least once and qualified it. Prior mentoring experience in UPSC preparation is mandatory, excluding experience limited to content creation or paper checking. Preference will be given to those who have cleared UPSC Mains multiple times and those with teaching or administrative experience at a Civil Services Academy. Strong communication skills and commitment to mentoring are essential.

Applicants must not be associated with any UPSC or JKPSC coaching institute during the engagement. They are also required to work full-time from the CRISP-25 residential facility. Selected candidates will not be allowed to continue any personal preparation for competitive exams during working hours. Breach of this condition will result in termination without notice.
