Srinagar, Jun 23: President of J&K Pensioners United Front (JKPUF) Abdul Qayoom Wani today said that the unity of pensioners at nation level is an eye opener for government of India.
In a statement, he said that that country wide protest of submitting memorandum to the prime minister through DCs and collectors of entire country was a peaceful befitting reply to Gol for their anti- pensioners and employees attitude. Wani said any move of government of India to exclude pensioners from the benefits of 8th pay commission will be fought tooth and nail through all peaceful means.
He added that symbolic campaigh of submitting memorandum was a first step to show our concern regarding pensions issues and unexpected response from crores of pensioners with zeal and zest is eye opener for centre. Wani said All India State Pensioners Federation is committed to safe guard the rights and dignity of Pensioners of India and today’s symbolic programme given by (AISPF) was widely appreciated and supported by every pensioner of the country.
