Uncle Stabs Nephew Over Water Dispute in Jammu Kashmir

SRINAGAR: A boy was seriously injured after being stabbed several times by his maternal uncle, also a minor, during a fight over filling water from a tap near the Bus Stand in Arnia region of Jammu, officials said.

An official said that both the victim and the accused are from Bihar. The injured boy was first taken to a local health centre and later shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for treatment.

Meanwhile, police have arrested the accused and registered a case for attempted murder. Further investigation is going on. (KNC)
