Two Injured After Bus Hits Car Near Chenani, Driver Flees | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Two persons sustained minor injuries after a passenger bus allegedly hit a car from the rear side near Chenani while both vehicles were travelling towards Udhampur, officials said.

An official said that Car No. JK17A-4910 and Bus No. JK02DE-7971 were plying from Chenani towards Udhampur when the bus hit the car from behind.

The bus driver fled from the spot while the vehicle was still in motion, creating panic among the passengers.

However, a co-passenger travelling in the bus managed to stop the vehicle and ensured the safety of other passengers.

Two occupants of the car sustained minor injuries in the incident, while the rest of the passengers remained safe, the official said.(KNC)
