Two infiltrators killed in north Kashmir’s Kupwara

Kupwara, Sep 28: Security forces foiled an infiltration attempt, killing two terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keran sector of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday.

Official sources said the movement of armed infiltrators across the LoC in the area was seen and security forces responded promptly and managed to foil the infiltration.

“Both the terrorists were neutralized during the operation,” they added.

Earlier yesterday, Inspector General of BSF Kashmir Frontier, Ashok Yadav said that security forces are maintaining maximum vigilance along the Line of Control (LoC) to counter infiltration attempts by terrorists ahead of the winter season. (KNC)
