TRAFFIC POLICE ADVISORY FOR NAVRATRA FESTIVAL W.E.F 19.03.2026 TO 26.03.2026
On the eve of Navratra festival commencing w.e.f. 19.03.2026, general public particularly those visiting Kali Mata Mandir Bahu Fort Jammu during the celebration of Holy Navratra festival for paying obeisance, are advised to follow the particular route to reach the temple to minimize the traffic pressure/chaos.
During the Navratra festival period, there will be one-way vehicular traffic movement towards the Bawe Temple to keep the Bahu Fort route free from obstructions. P/S Bagh-e-Bahu Crossing will be the diversion point and all vehicles (LMVs/PSVs) going towards Bahu Fort shall be diverted from P/S Bagh-e-Bahu Crossing towards Qasim Nagar – Raika Forest Check Post on NHW – Bawe Temple.
During Navratra days, No Heavy Vehicles (HMVs) shall be allowed to enter from Raika Forest Check Post on NHW towards Bagh-e-Bahu/Bahu Fort area.

The devotees and motorists are advised to follow the one-way route strictly to keep the road free for movement of devotee vehicles without any congestion.
The devotees/general public shall park their vehicles in a specific parking slot only and not on either side of the road in any way.
Wrongly parked vehicles on the said road stretch will be dealt under M.V Act.
Available Parking Slots:
New JDA Parking, near Bawe Temple.
Main paid parking slot in front of Bawe Temple.
Ground of Govt. Hr. Sec. School Bagh-e-Bahu.
Railway Parking slot near Bagh-e-Bahu.
The public in general and the motorists in particular are requested to co-operate with the Traffic Police and avoid movement on the routes mentioned above during the religious programme. In addition to the above, devotees visiting Kandoli Mata Nagrota during the Navratra festival shall park their vehicles in the parking slot near the temple and not on the road in any way.
