SRINAGAR: Authorities on Tuesday said that subject to fair weather and better road conditions, the Amarnath Yatra convoy, along with light motor vehicles (LMVs), passenger vehicles, and private cars, will be allowed to move from both directions on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

Healthy and young pilgrims proceed on foot. But the aged and weak prefer horses and palanquins to reach the cave shrine of Amarnath.
