Three Militants Killed in Ongoing Kishtwar Encounter | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Three militants were killed in an ongoing encounter between militants and security forces in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district on Sunday.

Official sources said the exchange of fire erupted during a search operation launched by security forces following specific intelligence inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

They said three militants have been neutralised so far, and additional forces have been rushed to the spot to strengthen the cordon. The operation is still underway, the sources added. (KNC)
