Teen Killed, Another Injured in South Kasmir Road Mishap

SRINAGAR: A 15-year-old boy was killed and another person was critically injured in a road mishap in Samboora area of pampore in South Kahmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday evening.

According to officials, the accident occurred when a Tavera vehicle collided with a motorcycle, resulting in the on-spot death of the motorcycle rider, identified as Burhan Ahmad Akhoon, son of a resident of Tanchibagh Frestbal, Pampore.

The second victim, a 19-year-old youth from Tulbagh, Pampore, sustained critical injuries. He was initially taken to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Pampore and later referred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and launched an investigation. (JKNS)
