SSP Handwara Shares Eid Festivities with Public, Distributes Sweets

Handwara: Marking the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr with a message of unity and goodwill, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Handwara, Sahil Sarangal, on Saturday distributed sweets among members of the Muslim community in Handwara.

The SSP was accompanied by senior police officials, including Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) and Station House Officers (SHOs), while Tehsildar Handwara also remained present during the outreach.

The initiative was undertaken to celebrate the festive occasion with the public and to further reinforce trust and cooperation between the police and the community.

SSP Sarangal interacted with residents, extended warm Eid greetings, and expressed hope for peace, prosperity, and communal harmony.

Locals appreciated the gesture, describing it as a positive step towards strengthening bonds and promoting brotherhood in the region.
