SSG road closed due to landslide at Zojila

Srinagar, Sep 06: Vehicular movement on the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) road was suspended on Saturday following landslides at multiple locations along the Zojila stretch.

Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner—KNC that the road has been and no vehicle is being allowed to move from TCP Sonmarg towards Kargil.

Restoration work has been started and the debris on the road is being cleared, they said.

Commuters have been advised to follow traffic advisories and avoid unnecessary travel on the route till further notice.
