SSC MTS 2025 Notification Out Today, Check Eligibility And Online Form

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the notification for SSC MTS and Havaldar Examination 2025. The online application window is open from 26 June to 24 July 2025 on the SSC official website. This national-level recruitment aims to fill Group-C non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts across various ministries, departments, and government offices.

The selection process for MTS and Havaldar posts includes Paper 1 (Objective CBT). Additionally, candidates applying for the Havaldar post will have to clear PET/PST. Eligible candidates who have passed their 10th standard can apply. The computer-based exam will be conducted between 20 September and 24 October 2025.

Candidates are advised to visit www.ssc.gov.in for submitting their applications. The recruitment offers basic pay ranging from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 22,000 per month under Pay Level-1 of the 7th Pay Commission.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in applying can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, and other essential details below.

Applicants must have passed 10th class (Matriculation) or equivalent from a recognised board or university. There is no minimum marks requirement.

The age limit for MTS posts is 18 to 25 years, and for Havaldar posts, it is 18 to 27 years. Age relaxations are applicable as per government rules: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwD – 10 to 15 years depending on the category.

Candidates must be Indian citizens or individuals as specified under the SSC nationality conditions including subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, and persons of Indian origin from specified countries.

How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply through the official SSC website between 26 June and 24 July 2025.

The application fee is Rs. 100. Women, SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the fee. Payment can be made via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards, UPI, or BHIM.

Selection Process:
The selection process involves two stages:
Paper-1 (Objective Computer-Based Test) for all posts.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for Havaldar post only.
