SSC JE 2025 Online Application Begins For 1340 Junior Engineer Posts In Civil, Mechanical And Electrical

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the Junior Engineer (JE) Examination 2025 to fill 1340 posts across various government departments. The application process for SSC JE 2025 begins from 30th June and continues till 21st July 2025.

As per the official notification, candidates will be selected for the posts of Junior Engineer in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying & Contracts through a three-stage process including Paper 1, Paper 2, and Document Verification. The posts are Group B (Non-Gazetted) and fall under Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 – Rs. 1,12,400) of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of Paper 1 (Computer Based), Paper 2 (Computer Based), and Document Verification. Both papers will consist of objective-type questions. Paper 1 will be of 200 marks and Paper 2 will be of 300 marks. There is negative marking of 0.25 in Paper 1 and 1 mark in Paper 2.
