SSC CHSL 2025 Notification Out For 3131 Posts Of LDC, JSA And Data Entry Operator (12th Pass Jobs)

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the official notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2025. This competitive exam is conducted for recruitment to Group C posts including Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and DEO Grade A in various central government departments.

As per the SSC CHSL 2025 notification, there are approximately 3131 tentative vacancies. The age of applicants should be between 18 and 27 years as on 1 August 2025. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹92,300 depending on the post. The selection process will be carried out in Tier-I and Tier-II computer-based examinations.

The registration process for SSC CHSL 2025 will begin from 23 June 2025.
Notification Date: 23-06-2025.
Start Date of Application: 23-06-2025.
Last Date of Application: 18-07-2025 till 11:00 PM.
Last Date for Fee Payment: 19-07-2025 till 11:00 PM.
Application Correction Window: 23-07-2025 to 24-07-2025.
Tier-I Exam Dates: 08-09-2025 to 18-09-2025.
Tier-II Exam Dates: February–March 2026.

Vacancy Details:
This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 3131 vacancies.

1) Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Level-2 (₹19,900–₹63,200).
2) Data Entry Operator (DEO): Level-4 (₹25,500–₹81,100), Level-5 (₹29,200–₹92,300).
3) Data Entry Operator, Grade A: Level-4 (₹25,500–₹81,100).

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed the 12th standard examination or equivalent from a recognized board. For the DEO post in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), candidates must have passed 12th with Mathematics as a subject in the science stream.

Age Limit:
The age limit for candidates is 18 to 27 years as on 01-08-2025. Candidates born not before 2 August 1998 and not later than 1 August 2007 are eligible. Age relaxations apply as per rules for reserved categories.

The application fee for the recruitment process is ₹100 for General, OBC and EWS categories. Female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted. Payment can be made online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Debit/Credit cards.

Selection Process:
Selection will be done on the basis of a two-tier computer-based examination.
Tier-I is scheduled from 8 to 18 September 2025. Tier-II will be held during February–March 2026.
